WHAT DOES THE TANACH SAY ABOUT
THE MASHIACH?
It is written in the Bible, in 2 Samuel 7:1-17, the following:
2 SM 7.1 AND IT CAME TO PASS,
WHEN THE KING DWELT IN HIS HOUSE, AND YAHVEH HAD GIVEN HIM REST FROM ALL HIS
ENEMIES ROUND ABOUT,
2 SM 7.2 THAT THE KING SAID
UNTO NATHAN THE PROPHET, SEE NOW, I DWELL IN A HOUSE OF CEDAR, BUT THE ARK OF
GOD DWELLETH WITHIN CURTAINS.
2 SM 7.3 AND NATHAN SAID TO
THE KING, GO, DO ALL THAT IS IN THY HEART; FOR YAHVEH IS WITH THEE.
2 SM 7.4 AND IT CAME TO PASS THE
SAME NIGHT, THAT THE WORD OF YAHVEH CAME UNTO NATHAN, SAYING,
2 SM 7.5 GO AND TELL MY
SERVANT DAVID, THUS SAITH YAHVEH, SHALT THOU BUILD ME A HOUSE FOR ME TO DWELL
IN?
2 SM 7.6 FOR I HAVE NOT DWELT
IN A HOUSE SINCE THE DAY THAT I BROUGHT UP THE CHILDREN OF ISRAEL OUT OF EGYPT,
EVEN TO THIS DAY, BUT HAVE WALKED IN A TENT AND IN A TABERNACLE.
2 SM 7.7 IN ALL PLACES WHEREIN
I HAVE WALKED WITH ALL THE CHILDREN OF ISRAEL, SPAKE I A WORD WITH ANY OF THE
TRIBES OF ISRAEL, WHOM I COMMANDED TO BE SHEPHERD OF MY PEOPLE ISRAEL, SAYING,
WHY HAVE YE NOT BUILT ME A HOUSE OF CEDAR?
2 SM 7.8 NOW THEREFORE THUS
SHALT THOU SAY UNTO MY SERVANT DAVID, THUS SAITH YAHVEH OF HOSTS, I TOOK THEE
FROM THE SHEEPCOTE, FROM FOLLOWING THE SHEEP, THAT THOU SHOULDEST BE PRINCE OVER
MY PEOPLE, OVER ISRAEL;
2 SM 7.9 AND I HAVE BEEN WITH
THEE WHITHERSOEVER THOU WENTEST, AND HAVE CUT OFF ALL THINE ENEMIES FROM BEFORE
THEE; AND I WILL MAKE THEE A GREAT NAME, LIKE UNTO THE NAME OF THE GREAT ONES
THAT ARE IN THE EARTH.
2 SM 7.10 AND I WILL APPOINT A
PLACE FOR MY PEOPLE ISRAEL, AND WILL PLANT THEM, THAT THEY MAY DWELL IN THEIR
OWN PLACE, AND BE MOVED NO MORE; NEITHER SHALL THE CHILDREN OF WICKEDNESS
AFFLICT THEM ANY MORE, AS AT THE FIRST,
2 SM 7.11 AND AS FROM THE DAY
THAT I COMMANDED JUDGES TO BE OVER MY PEOPLE ISRAEL; AND I WILL CAUSE THEE TO
REST FROM ALL THINE ENEMIES. MOREOVER YAHVEH TELLETH THEE THAT YAHVEH WILL MAKE
THEE A HOUSE.
2 SM 7.12 WHEN THY DAYS ARE
FULFILLED, AND THOU SHALT SLEEP WITH THY FATHERS, I WILL SET UP THY SEED AFTER
THEE, THAT SHALL PROCEED OUT OF THY BOWELS, AND I WILL ESTABLISH HIS KINGDOM.
2 SM 7.13 HE SHALL BUILD A
HOUSE FOR MY NAME, AND I WILL ESTABLISH THE THRONE OF HIS KINGDOM FOR EVER.
2 SM 7.14 I WILL BE HIS FATHER,
AND HE SHALL BE MY SON: IF HE COMMIT INIQUITY, I WILL CHASTEN HIM WITH THE ROD
OF MEN, AND WITH THE STRIPES OF THE CHILDREN OF MEN;
2 SM 7.15 BUT MY LOVINGKINDNESS
SHALL NOT DEPART FROM HIM, AS I TOOK IT FROM SAUL, WHOM I PUT AWAY BEFORE THEE.
2 SM 7.16 AND THY HOUSE AND THY
KINGDOM SHALL BE MADE SURE FOR EVER BEFORE THEE: THY THRONE SHALL BE
ESTABLISHED FOR EVER.
2 SM 7.17 ACCORDING TO ALL
THESE WORDS, AND ACCORDING TO ALL THIS VISION, SO DID NATHAN SPEAK UNTO
DAVID.
Therefore, we see that God said that a descendant of David would be king
of Israel forever, and that God would be his father and he would be son of
God.
It is written in the Bible, in Isaiah chapter 11, the following:
IS 11. 1 AND THERE SHALL COME FORTH A SHOOT OUT OF THE STOCK
OF JESSE, AND A BRANCH OUT OF HIS ROOTS SHALL BEAR FRUIT.
IS 11. 2 AND THE SPIRIT OF YAHVEH SHALL REST UPON HIM,
THE SPIRIT OF WISDOM AND UNDERSTANDING, THE SPIRIT OF COUNSEL AND MIGHT, THE
SPIRIT OF KNOWLEDGE AND OF THE FEAR OF YAHVEH.
IS 11. 3 AND HIS DELIGHT SHALL BE IN THE FEAR OF
YAHVEH; AND HE SHALL NOT JUDGE AFTER THE SIGHT OF HIS EYES, NEITHER DECIDE
AFTER THE HEARING OF HIS EARS;
IS 11. 4 BUT WITH RIGHTEOUSNESS SHALL HE JUDGE THE
POOR, AND DECIDE WITH EQUITY FOR THE MEEK OF THE EARTH; AND HE SHALL SMITE THE
EARTH WITH THE ROD OF HIS MOUTH; AND WITH THE BREATH OF HIS LIPS SHALL HE SLAY
THE WICKED.
IS 11. 5 AND RIGHTEOUSNESS SHALL BE THE GIRDLE OF HIS
WAIST, AND FAITHFULNESS THE GIRDLE OF HIS LOINS.
IS 11. 6 AND THE WOLF SHALL DWELL WITH THE LAMB, AND
THE LEOPARD SHALL LIE DOWN WITH THE KID; AND THE CALF AND THE YOUNG LION AND
THE FATLING TOGETHER; AND A LITTLE CHILD SHALL LEAD THEM.
IS 11. 7 AND THE COW AND THE BEAR SHALL FEED; THEIR
YOUNG ONES SHALL LIE DOWN TOGETHER; AND THE LION SHALL EAT STRAW LIKE THE OX.
IS 11. 8 AND THE SUCKING CHILD SHALL PLAY ON THE HOLE
OF THE ASP, AND THE WEANED CHILD SHALL PUT HIS HAND ON THE ADDER'S DEN.
IS 11. 9 THEY SHALL NOT HURT NOR DESTROY IN ALL MY HOLY
MOUNTAIN; FOR THE EARTH SHALL BE FULL OF THE KNOWLEDGE OF YAHVEH, AS THE WATERS
COVER THE SEA.
IS 11. 10 AND IT SHALL COME TO PASS IN THAT DAY, THAT
THE ROOT OF JESSE, THAT STANDETH FOR AN ENSIGN OF THE PEOPLES, UNTO HIM SHALL
THE NATIONS SEEK; AND HIS RESTING-PLACE SHALL BE GLORIOUS.
IS 11. 11 AND IT SHALL COME TO PASS IN THAT DAY, THAT
THE LORD WILL SET HIS HAND AGAIN THE SECOND TIME TO RECOVER THE REMNANT OF HIS
PEOPLE, THAT SHALL REMAIN, FROM ASSYRIA, AND FROM EGYPT, AND FROM PATHROS, AND
FROM CUSH, AND FROM ELAM, AND FROM SHINAR, AND FROM HAMATH, AND FROM THE
ISLANDS OF THE SEA.
IS 11. 12 AND HE WILL SET UP AN ENSIGN FOR THE NATIONS,
AND WILL ASSEMBLE THE OUTCASTS OF ISRAEL, AND GATHER TOGETHER THE DISPERSED OF
JUDAH FROM THE FOUR CORNERS OF THE EARTH.
IS 11. 13 THE ENVY ALSO OF EPHRAIM SHALL DEPART, AND
THEY THAT VEX JUDAH SHALL BE CUT OFF: EPHRAIM SHALL NOT ENVY JUDAH, AND JUDAH
SHALL NOT VEX EPHRAIM.
IS 11. 14 AND THEY SHALL FLY DOWN UPON THE SHOULDER OF
THE PHILISTINES ON THE WEST; TOGETHER SHALL THEY DESPOIL THE CHILDREN OF THE
EAST: THEY SHALL PUT FORTH THEIR HAND UPON EDOM AND MOAB; AND THE CHILDREN OF
AMMON SHALL OBEY THEM.
IS 11. 15 AND YAHVEH WILL UTTERLY DESTROY THE TONGUE OF
THE EGYPTIAN SEA; AND WITH HIS SCORCHING WIND WILL HE WAVE HIS HAND OVER THE
RIVER, AND WILL SMITE IT INTO SEVEN STREAMS, AND CAUSE MEN TO MARCH OVER
DRYSHOD.
IS 11. 16 AND THERE SHALL BE A HIGHWAY FOR THE REMNANT
OF HIS PEOPLE, THAT SHALL REMAIN, FROM ASSYRIA; LIKE AS THERE WAS FOR ISRAEL IN
THE DAY THAT HE CAME UP OUT OF THE LAND OF EGYPT.
Therefore, we see that the Spirit of Yahveh would rest on a descendant
of Jesse (Jesse is the father of David, as we see in Ruth 4:17), and he will
become the king of Israel, and he will fear Yahveh and he will judge with
justice, and he will become the king of kings of all the nations, and then
there will be peace in the earth, and the people of Israel will turn to inhabit
his land, that Yahveh gave to them.
And it is written in the Bible, in Jeremiah 23:5-6, the following:
JR 23.5 BEHOLD, THE DAYS
COME, SAITH YAHVEH, THAT I WILL RAISE UNTO DAVID A RIGHTEOUS SPROUT, AND HE
SHALL REIGN AS KING AND SHALL BE INTELLIGENT, AND SHALL EXECUTE JUSTICE AND
RIGHTEOUSNESS IN THE EARTH.
JR 23.6 IN HIS DAYS JUDAH
SHALL BE SAVED, AND ISRAEL SHALL DWELL SAFELY; AND THIS IS HIS NAME WHEREBY HE
SHALL BE CALLED: YAHVEH IS OUR RIGHTEOUSNESS.
Therefore, we see that a descendant of David will become king of Israel,
and will be intelligent, and will make judgement and justice in the earth, and
in his days the people of Israel will be saved and he will inhabit in
safety.
It is written in the Bible, in the book of the prophet Isaiah, from
chapter 52, verse 13 to chapter 53, verse 12, the following:
IS 52.13 BEHOLD, MY SERVANT SHALL DEAL WISELY, HE SHALL
BE EXALTED AND LIFTED UP, AND SHALL BE VERY HIGH.
IS 52.14 LIKE AS MANY WERE ASTONISHED AT THEE (HIS
VISAGE WAS SO MARRED MORE THAN ANY MAN, AND HIS FORM MORE THAN THE SONS OF
MEN),
IS 52.15 SO SHALL HE SPRINKLE MANY NATIONS; KINGS SHALL
SHUT THEIR MOUTHS AT HIM: FOR THAT WHICH HAD NOT BEEN TOLD THEM SHALL THEY SEE;
AND THAT WHICH THEY HAD NOT HEARD SHALL THEY UNDERSTAND.
IS 53.1 WHO HATH BELIEVED OUR MESSAGE? AND TO WHOM
HATH THE ARM OF YAHVEH BEEN REVEALED?
IS 53.2 FOR HE GREW UP BEFORE HIM AS A TENDER PLANT,
AND AS A ROOT OUT OF A DRY GROUND: HE HATH NO FORM NOR COMELINESS; AND WHEN WE
SEE HIM, THERE IS NO BEAUTY THAT WE SHOULD DESIRE HIM.
IS 53.3 HE WAS DESPISED, AND REJECTED OF MEN; A MAN OF
SORROWS, AND ACQUAINTED WITH GRIEF: AND AS ONE FROM WHOM MEN HIDE THEIR FACE HE
WAS DESPISED; AND WE ESTEEMED HIM NOT.
IS 53.4 SURELY HE HATH BORNE OUR GRIEFS, AND CARRIED
OUR SORROWS; YET WE DID ESTEEM HIM STRICKEN, SMITTEN OF GOD, AND AFFLICTED.
IS 53.5 BUT HE WAS WOUNDED FOR OUR TRANSGRESSIONS, HE
WAS BRUISED FOR OUR INIQUITIES; THE CHASTISEMENT OF OUR PEACE WAS UPON HIM; AND
WITH HIS STRIPES WE ARE HEALED.
IS 53.6 ALL WE LIKE SHEEP HAVE GONE ASTRAY; WE HAVE TURNED
EVERY ONE TO HIS OWN WAY; AND YAHVEH HATH LAID ON HIM THE INIQUITY OF US ALL.
IS 53.7 HE WAS OPPRESSED, YET WHEN HE WAS AFFLICTED HE
OPENED NOT HIS MOUTH; AS A LAMB THAT IS LED TO THE SLAUGHTER, AND AS A SHEEP
THAT BEFORE ITS SHEARERS IS DUMB, SO HE OPENED NOT HIS MOUTH.
IS 53.8 BY OPPRESSION AND JUDGMENT HE WAS TAKEN AWAY;
AND AS FOR HIS GENERATION, WHO AMONG THEM CONSIDERED THAT HE WAS CUT OFF OUT OF
THE LAND OF THE LIVING FOR THE TRANSGRESSION OF MY PEOPLE TO WHOM THE STROKE
WAS DUE?
IS 53.9 AND THEY MADE HIS GRAVE WITH THE WICKED, AND
WITH A RICH MAN IN HIS DEATH; ALTHOUGH HE HAD DONE NO VIOLENCE, NEITHER WAS ANY
DECEIT IN HIS MOUTH.
IS 53.10 YET IT PLEASED YAHVEH TO BRUISE HIM; HE HATH
PUT HIM TO GRIEF: WHEN THOU SHALT MAKE HIS SOUL AN OFFERING FOR SIN, HE SHALL
SEE HIS SEED, HE SHALL PROLONG HIS DAYS, AND THE PLEASURE OF YAHVEH SHALL
PROSPER IN HIS HAND.
IS 53.11 HE SHALL SEE OF THE TRAVAIL OF HIS SOUL, AND
SHALL BE SATISFIED: BY THE KNOWLEDGE OF HIMSELF SHALL MY RIGHTEOUS SERVANT
JUSTIFY MANY; AND HE SHALL BEAR THEIR INIQUITIES.
IS 53.12 THEREFORE WILL I DIVIDE HIM A PORTION WITH THE
GREAT, AND HE SHALL DIVIDE THE SPOIL WITH THE STRONG; BECAUSE HE POURED OUT HIS
SOUL UNTO DEATH, AND WAS NUMBERED WITH THE TRANSGRESSORS: YET HE BARE THE SIN
OF MANY, AND MADE INTERCESSION FOR THE TRANSGRESSORS.
Therefore, we see that the Holy Scriptures say that the Messiah would
suffer and would die for the sins of the people, to justify them, and later
would become a great and powerful king.
Wherefore, it is verified that the Messiah would have to resurrect,
after having died, in order that then he could become king.
It is written in the Bible, in the book of the prophet Daniel, chapter
9, verses 24 to 27, the following:
DN 9.24 SEVENTY WEEKS ARE
DECREED UPON THY PEOPLE AND UPON THY HOLY CITY, TO FINISH TRANSGRESSION, AND TO
MAKE AN END OF SINS, AND TO MAKE RECONCILIATION FOR INIQUITY, AND TO BRING IN
EVERLASTING RIGHTEOUSNESS, AND TO SEAL UP VISION AND PROPHECY, AND TO ANOINT THE
MOST HOLY.
DN 9.25 KNOW THEREFORE AND
DISCERN, THAT FROM THE GOING FORTH OF THE COMMANDMENT TO RESTORE AND TO BUILD
JERUSALEM UNTO THE ANOINTED ONE, THE PRINCE, SHALL BE SEVEN WEEKS, AND
THREESCORE AND TWO WEEKS: IT SHALL BE BUILT AGAIN, WITH STREET AND MOAT, EVEN
IN TROUBLOUS TIMES.
DN 9.26 AND AFTER THE
THREESCORE AND TWO WEEKS SHALL THE ANOINTED ONE BE CUT OFF, AND SHALL HAVE
NOTHING: AND THE PEOPLE OF THE PRINCE THAT SHALL COME SHALL DESTROY THE CITY
AND THE SANCTUARY; AND THE END THEREOF SHALL BE WITH A FLOOD, AND EVEN UNTO THE
END SHALL BE WAR; DESOLATIONS ARE DETERMINED.
DN 9.27 AND HE SHALL
STRENGTHEN A COVENANT WITH MANY FOR ONE WEEK, AND IN THE MIDST OF THE WEEK HE
SHALL CAUSE THE SACRIFICE AND THE OBLATION TO CEASE; AND UPON THE WING OF
ABOMINATIONS SHALL BE THE DESOLATER, AND UNTILL THE END, AND WHAT IS DETERMINED
SHALL BE POURED UPON THE DESOLATER.
Therefore, we see that the Messiah should appear and be killed before
the destruction of the Second Temple, that happened in the year 70 A.D., and we
see also that from the exit of the order to come back and to build Jerusalem,
that happened in the seventh year of king Artaxerxes (Ezra 7:7-9), that
corresponds to the year 458 B.C., until the Messiah, sixty nine weeks should
pass, in other words, 483 years (69 x 7 = 483).
Wherefore, the Messiah should appear in the year 25 A.C.
It is written in the book of the prophet Micah, chapter 5, verse 1, the
following:
MC 5.1 AND THOU, BETHLEHEM EPHRATHAH, WHICH ART LITTLE TO BE AMONG THE THOUSANDS
OF JUDAH, OUT OF THEE SHALL ONE COME FORTH UNTO ME THAT IS TO BE RULER IN
ISRAEL; WHOSE GOINGS FORTH ARE FROM OF OLD, FROM THE DAYS OF THE ANTIQUITY.
Therefore, the Messiah should be born in Bethlehem.
It is written in the book of the prophet Isaiah 8:23 and 9:1 and 9:5-6,
the following:
“IS 8.23 BUT THERE SHALL BE NO
GLOOM TO HER THAT WAS IN ANGUISH. IN THE FORMER TIME HE BROUGHT INTO CONTEMPT
THE LAND OF ZEBULUN AND THE LAND OF NAPHTALI; BUT IN THE LATTER TIME HATH HE
MADE IT GLORIOUS, BY THE WAY OF THE SEA, BEYOND THE JORDAN, GALILEE OF THE
NATIONS.
IS 9.1 THE PEOPLE THAT WALKED IN DARKNESS HAVE SEEN A GREAT LIGHT: THEY THAT
DWELT IN THE LAND OF THE SHADOW OF DEATH, UPON THEM HATH THE LIGHT SHINED.”
"IS 9.5 FOR UNTO US A CHILD IS BORN, UNTO US A
SON IS GIVEN; AND THE GOVERNMENT SHALL BE UPON HIS SHOULDER: AND HIS NAME SHALL
BE CALLED PELE-YOETS-EL-GIBOR-ABIAD-SAR-SHALOM.[1]
IS 9.6 OF THE INCREASE OF HIS GOVERNMENT AND OF PEACE THERE SHALL BE NO END,
UPON THE THRONE OF DAVID, AND UPON HIS KINGDOM, TO ESTABLISH IT, AND TO UPHOLD
IT WITH JUSTICE AND WITH RIGHTEOUSNESS FROM HENCEFORTH EVEN FOR EVER. THE ZEAL
OF YAHVEH OF HOSTS WILL PERFORM THIS."
Therefore, we see that the Messiah should begin to manifest himself in
Galilee, near the way of the Sea.
It is written in Psalms 2, verses 6 to 12, the following:
"PS 2.6 YET I HAVE SET MY KING UPON MY HOLY
HILL OF ZION.
PS 2.7 I WILL TELL OF THE DECREE: YAHVEH SAID
UNTO ME, THOU ART MY SON; THIS DAY HAVE I BEGOTTEN THEE.
PS 2.8 ASK OF ME, AND I WILL GIVE THEE THE
NATIONS FOR THINE INHERITANCE, AND THE UTTERMOST PARTS OF THE EARTH FOR THY
POSSESSION.
PS 2.9 THOU SHALT BREAK THEM WITH A ROD OF
IRON; THOU SHALT DASH THEM IN PIECES LIKE A POTTER'S VESSEL.
PS 2.10 NOW THEREFORE BE WISE, O YE KINGS: BE
INSTRUCTED, YE JUDGES OF THE EARTH.
PS 2.11 SERVE YAHVEH WITH FEAR, AND REJOICE
WITH TREMBLING.
PS 2.12 KISS THE SON, LEST YAHVEH BE ANGRY, AND
YE PERISH IN THE WAY, FOR HIS WRATH WILL SOON BE KINDLED. HAPPY ARE ALL THAT
TRUST IN HIM.”
So, we see that the Messiah not only it will reign over Israel, but will
also dominate over all nations, and he will make that all the nations serve
Yahveh.
It is written in the Bible, in Psalms 110:1-2, the following:
" PS 110.1 YAHVEH
SAITH UNTO MY LORD, SIT THOU AT MY RIGHT HAND, UNTIL I PUT THY ENEMIES AS STOOL
FOR THY FEET.
PS 110.2 YAHVEH WILL SEND
FORTH THE ROD OF THY STRENGTH OUT OF ZION: RULE THOU IN THE MIDST OF THINE
ENEMIES."
So, we see that the Messiah should seat at the right of God, until God
put his enemies as stool for his feet.
It is written in the Bible, in the book of the prophet Isaiah, chapter
49, verse 6, the following:
" IS 49.6 AND HE SAID, IT IS FEW THAT THOU BE MY SERVANT TO
RAISE UP THE TRIBES OF JACOB, AND TO RESTORE THE PRESERVED OF ISRAEL: AND I
WILL GIVE THEE FOR LIGHT TO THE NATIONS, TO BE MY SALVATION UNTIL THE END OF
THE EARTH."
This text shows that the Messiah would be the salvation of God, not only
for the children of Israel, but also for all the nations.
Therefore, it is verified that Jesus the Nazarene is the Messiah,
because, as the Gospel according to Matthew (authentic text) relates, he is
descendant of David (Matthew 1:1-16); and he was born in Bethlehem and was
created in Nazareth, in Galilee, where he began to preach the approach of the kingdom
of God, in the year 26 A.D., in the city of Kfar Nahum, near the road of the
sea (Matthew 4:12-17); even being just, he was condemned and died on the cross,
for our sins, and his soul was put as offer for the blame, (Matthew 27); he
resurrected in the third day after his death (Matthew 28); he was elevated to
Heaven, and is seated at the right of God (Matthew 26:64); he will come from
the Heaven (Matthew 24:30) and will reign eternally over Israel, and will also
reign over all nations (Matthew 25:31-32).
In the Gospel according to Matthew (authentic text), chapter 5, verses
17 to 19, the following is written:
"5.17 DO NOT THINK THAT I CAME TO ABOLISH THE LAW OR THE
PROPHETS: I CAME NOT TO ABOLISH, BUT TO FULFILL.
5.18 VERILY I SAY UNTO YOU THAT TILL
HEAVEN AND
5.19 AND THE ONE WHO SHALL TRANSGRESS ONE OF THESE COMMANDMENTS, AND SHALL
TEACH OTHERS, SHALL BE CALLED SON OF THE LIE IN THE KINGDOM OF YAHVEH: BUT THE
ONE WHO FULFILL AND TEACH, SHALL BE CALLED GREAT IN THE KINGDOM OF
YAHVEH."
Therefore, we see that Jesus the Nazarene (Yeshua haNetsari) preached
the obedience to the commandments of the Law of God (Torah).
It is written in the book of Acts of the Apostles, chapter 21, verse 20,
the following:
"20 And they, when they heard it, glorified God; and they said unto
him, Thou seest, brother, how many tens of thousands there are among the
Jews that have believed; and they all are zealous for the law
".
Therefore, it is verified that the true followers of Jesus the Nazarene
(Yeshua haNetsari) obey all the commandments of the Law of God (Torah).
Yahveh bless you.
