WAS JESUS CHRIST BORN OF A VIRGIN?

It is written in the writings of the old Catholic writers, called Church Fathers, that in the first centuries of the Christian Era there were the Ebionites, who were considered heretics by the Catholics, because they obeyed all the commandments of The Law of God, and that The Bible of the Ebionites was composed only by the Tanach (Old Testament) and by the authentic text of the Gospel according to Matthew.

We see in Matthew 5:17-19 that Jesus Christ (Yeshua haMashiach) said that he did not come to abolish The Law of God (Torah), and that we must obey all the commandments of the Law of God, without exception, and that none commandment of the Law of God will ever be abolished.

Therefore, we see that the true followers of Jesus Christ (Yeshua haMashiach) were the Ebionites, and that in fact the Catholics are the heretics.

So, the true Bible is the Bible of the Ebionites, which is composed only by the Tanach (Old Testament) and by the authentic text of the Gospel according to Matthew.

Researching about the Ebionites, in the writings of the Church Fathers, we see that the Gospel that they used, although it was identified as being the Gospel according to Matthew, was not exactly equal to the Gospel according to Matthew which is used by the Catholics, because it was considered by the Catholics as being incomplete, corrupted and mutilated.

Many of the old Catholic writers, called Church Fathers, told that the Gospel according to Matthew was originally written in Hebrew, and that the Gospel according to Matthew which was used by the Ebionites was written in Hebrew.

Many manuscripts of the Gospel according to Matthew in Hebrew were found, and it is possible to buy the Gospel according to Matthew in Hebrew of Shem Tov, in the site

and it is possible to see the text of the Gospel according to Matthew of Du Tillet in the following site:

Since the Gospel according to Matthew which was used by the Ebionites did not contain everything that is contained in the Gospel according to Matthew which is used by the Catholics, it is necessary to discern which are the passages of the Gospel according to Matthew that are authentic, and which are the passages of the Gospel according to Matthew which were added by the Catholics.

It is also necessary to discern which is the authentic text of the Gospel according to Matthew, because there are many variant readings, as in the Hebrew text, as in the Greek version, and in the old Syriac version, and in the old Latin version, and in other versions.

In order to distinguish which is the authentic text of each passage of the Gospel according to Matthew, and to distinguish which are the passages that were added by heretics, we must apply the following criterions:

In order that the Gospel according to Matthew can be considered inspired by God, its text must be in accordance with what is written in the Tanach (Old Testament), and as Jesus Christ is the Anointed of God, all his acts and words must be in accordance with what God had already established in the Tanach (Old Testament), and as Jesus Christ said that he did not come to abolish the Law and the Prophets (Matthew 5:17-19), then all the acts and words of Jesus Christ must be in accordance with the Law of God (Torah), and therefore, among the several variant readings found in the old manuscripts, must be adopted that which is more in accordance with the Old Testament (the Tanach), and the passages of the Gospel according to Matthew that contradict what is in the Old Testament (the Tanach) are passages that were added by heretics and, therefore, must be removed.

With base in these criterions, I restored the authentic text of the Gospel according to Matthew.

The other books of the New Testament, including the Epistles of Paul, they are not parts of the canon of the Bible of the true followers of Jesus Christ (Yeshua haMashiach), and are not inspired by God, because they have some satanic passages, which induce the people to think that it is not necessary to obey some of the commandments of God, or that induce people to have Jesus Christ as their god, thus violating the commandment of God, who said: "Thou shalt not have other gods in front of me" (Exodus 20:3), or that induce people to think that Jesus Christ is God Himself, thus contradicting what God said in Deuteronomy 6:4, where it is written: "Hear, Israel, Yahveh Our God, Yahveh is one".

About the allegation that Jesus Christ was born of a virgin, it is the following:

Searching about the Ebionites, we see that the Ebionites did not believe in the divinity of Jesus Christ, neither in the virginal birth of Jesus Christ, and that they said that Jesus Christ was begotten by Joseph, normally, and we se also that in the Gospel according to Matthew which was used by the Ebionites there was not the story about the virginal birth of Jesus Christ.

In the Gospel according to Matthew which is used by the Catholics, in chapter 1, verses 16 to 25, it is told that Jesus was born of a virgin, to accomplish what is written in Isaiah 7:14, where, as it is there, is written: “Behold, the virgin shall be with child, and shall bring forth a son, and they shall call his name Immanuel".

However, in the original Hebrew text of the book of Isaiah, it is written "Behold, the young woman shall conceive, and bear a son, and shall call his name Immanuel".

The Hebrew word that the Catholics translate as “virgin” is the word “almah”, which means “young woman”, “lass”.

Beyond that, reading the chapters 7 and 8 of the book of Isaiah, we see that the boy mentioned in Isaiah 7:14 would be born soon after the date in which the prophecy was said, and that before that boy know to reject the evil and to choose the good, the land of Syria and the Land of Samaria (Kingdom of Israel, that is, Kingdom of the North) would be forsaken, and the verse Isaiah 7:16 shows it very clearly, and the verses 2 Kings 15:29 and 2 Kings 16:9 also show very clearly that everything that is said in Isaiah 7:14-16 was fulfilled in that same epoch, in a short period of time.

Therefore, we see that the verse Isaiah 7:14 does not refer to the Messiah, and does not say that a virgin would conceive, but says that a young woman would conceive, and we see also that that prophecy was fulfilled in the time of the prophet Isaiah.

And the verse Isaiah 8:18 shows that the sons of the prophet Isaiah were used by God for signals and prodigies, and this demonstrates that the boy mentioned in Isaiah 7:14 was a son of the prophet Isaiah, what is also seen in Isaiah 8:3-4.

Therefore, we see that the story of the virginal birth of Jesus Christ is totally false.

In the manuscript Syrus Sinaiticus, of the Old Syriac Version, in Matthew 1:16, it is written that Joseph begot Jesus, and in a book of unknown author, of the century V, called Dialogus Timothei et Aquilae, it is also written that Joseph begot Jesus, and in this book is also written that in the Gospel according to Matthew it was written that Joseph begot Jesus, and that only in apocryphal books it was written the text with the story of the virginal birth, which appears in the text of the Gospel according to Matthew which is used by the Catholics and by the Protestants, or Evangelicals.

Beyond that, in the manuscripts Θ and Φ, of the Greek version, and in the manuscripts a, g1, k and q of the Old Latin Version, the text of Matthew 1:16 is as follows: “And Jacob begot Joseph, to whom was engaged the virgin Mary, begot Jesus, the called Christ”, which shows that in these manuscripts the text became truncated, because they did the amendment to introduce the fable of the virginal birth, but were retained the words “begot Jesus”, of the original text, which was “Joseph begot Jesus”.

Therefore, we see that the story of the virginal birth of Jesus Christ was invented afterwards, and was interpolated in the Gospel according to Matthew.

Beyond that, the passages 2 Samuel 7:12-16 and 1 Chronicles 17:11-14 and Psalms 89:20-38 show that God had said that the Messiah would be of the seed of David, and Joseph was descendant of David, as we see in the genealogy that is in the beginning of the Gospel according to Matthew, where it is written the genealogy from David to Joseph, so that, if Jesus Christ was not begotten by Joseph, he would not be of the seed of David and, therefore, could not be the Messiah (Mashiach).

This shows that is false the story of the supposed virginal birth of Jesus the Nazarene, which was unfairly added by the Catholics in the Greek version of the Gospel according to Matthew.

Beyond that, God is not carnal, so that it does not make sense to say that God rendered pregnant a woman.

Everything indicates that the Catholics created the myths of the divinity of Jesus Christ and of the virginal birth of Jesus Christ, influenced by the Paganism, because it is in the heathen religions that there are myths about gods that incarnate in men, who are called avatars in the Hinduism, and myths about demigods, sons of a god with a woman, as is the case of Heracles, or Hercules, in the Greco-Roman mythology.

Thank God, the informations about the Ebionites were registered in the books of the Church Fathers, and thus we can know that are false the doctrines of the virginal birth of Jesus Christ and of the divinity of Jesus Christ, and thus we are liberated from committing the sin of polytheism.

May Yahveh bless you.
