THE CURSE OF JECONIAH
It is written in the Bible,
in Jeremiah 22:24-30 that God said
that Jeconiah (Jeremiah 24:1), also called Coniah and also called Jehoiachin (2
Kings 24:6), would not be a king again,
and that none of his sons would be king of Israel, but God did not say that this would be to
all generations.
We see in Haggai 2:23 that God said that He chose Zerubbabel, son
of Shealtiel and grandchild of Jeconiah (Coniah, or Jehoiachin) and that the
offspring of Zerubbabel shall reign.
Therefore, the word that God spoke in Jeremiah 22:24-30 was
relative only to Coniah (or Jeconiah, or
Jehoiachin) himself and to his sons, but from the third generation, which was
Zerubbabel, God turned to bless that
regal lineage of the offspring of David.
So, we see that there is no impediment for Yeshua (Jesus) to be the Messiah, the King of Israel,
being he descendant of Zerubbabel, according to the genealogy that is found in Matthew 1:1-16.
Yahveh bless you.
